Please pray for my son
My son was hurt in gym at school and is in ICU at Beaumount hospital. Somehow he fell and cracked his skull and is bleeding from his brain. Please pray for him. His name is Steven Jackson
I just got out of the hospital and had some cancer removed. The reason I say some is it is in 3 areas. They said I will have to go under the knife again because they could not get it all were they were working this time. That is not including the other two areas.
I can deal with what is happening to me but my heart is broken for my son. I don't understand what I did to deserve this.

Chris,
My God, I can't believe this. I'm praying for you and your son. What a run of bad luck you've been having this year.
I can relate, although certainly not on your scale....
I thought I was having a bad year, medically speaking...I'm going in for hernia surgery Wednesday, my wife was rushed to emergency with a very, very large kidney stone earlier this summer, my Dad went into emergency with what turned out to be 3 bleeding colon ulcers, my Grandfather was just diagnosed with prostate cancer, and earlier this year I had to take my 1 1/2 year old son to emergency for 9 stiches in his eyelid. Whew! We'll all be ok, though (except my Grandfather, but they said it is very early cancer, and something else will probably "get him" before that does).
Chris - you are "good people" and things like this should not happen to you. My thoughts are with you and your family. I hope everything turns out OK with your son... and with you.
Take care,
Mark
P.S. - BTW - Which Beaumont is he at? I'll be at Troy Wednesday.
P.P.S. - My brother is a neuro-radiologist (aka brain doctor) at NYC hospital. If I can help, let me know what the doctors are saying and I can run it by him -- it is always nice to have an opinion without all of the "couching" that the doctors have to do because of lawsuits.

Chris,
Having a few sons myself (6) I understand and will tell others in my church to pray also. Remember you haven't done anything, God doesn't work that way. The cool thing about God is if you believe in him then you can't loose. My Prayers.

I don't even know you, but my heart is filled with compassion for you and your son. You both will be in mine and my families prayers. I am sure everything will work itself out, just have faith and never give up hope.
Peace

Re: Please pray for my son
Whoa... yeah how in the world did that happen to him? As one of my best friends would say, "something's fishy in Dodge city."
I believe that no one ever does anything to deserve things like this when they happen. Perhaps it's a test of your faith... Or perhaps you could look at it as a way to learn how to treasure each day, no matter how mundane it may seem. But no matter how you look at it, it's a tough situation to be in.
My family and I will pray for you and your boy.
