i need the wheel lock key that is used on the anti theft lugs. it's for my 95' cougar. i figure someone with a cougar on thunderbird will have one that fits.if not what do i have to do cut them off?

take it to a tire shop like discount or belle tire. they will remove tehm for you. then if you want some buy a set with the key!

yea. you can go there.. some places sell a special lug in Autobody catalogs that is the same thing used by the tire places.. basically a special socket that cuts into the side of the lug and grabs it so it can be taken off. As for finding a peron with the key.. that will be almost impossible since there are more combinations of keys than i care to think about...

is it a factory luglock? if so, ford dealerships will have a set of master keys like we have at my work. I know from personal exp. that the ford keys are hard to get off. poss. with the right tool, but I have a couple diff. sizes and they just dont work right.

If its aftermarket and nobody can get em off buy a cheap socket JUST a HAIR too small/same size as the lock, hammer the damn thing on, and twist it off Done that a couple times, work at a dealership and we've had people turn in trade ins w/o giving us the key for their locks.

they are the factory ford lug locks. when to two ford dealers. 11@hoover and Hall&gratiot. bot had the master set but neitier had the one i needed. can't use a smaller socket trick cause the lock is the femake style. I'm just going to go to a tire shop and have them take it off. they were going to have to anyways since i'm in need of new tires.just wanted to have the lug key when i got there. thanks everyone for your help.

I just took mine to discount and they took em off for $20 and put lugs back on
