Horrible news coming in from a few different sources. I know Mike was always buying and selling parts and so he came in contact with many people along the way. I only met him one time while he met me at work to drop off pushrods my dad bought from him.

From what I understand, he threw out his back and was at the hospital today. He passed around 2pm.

When I find out about funeral arrangements, I'll pass along the information.

Very sad to hear, he was taken at far too young of an age.

Rest in peace, Mike.

 

wow wth from a back injury???? I met him a few times, mostly to exchange parts he had what i needed and i had what he needed...yes very sorry to hear very young man.

 

Forgot I posted the thread here. It turns out he had blood clots all over his body and that's what ultimately took its toll on him.

WHOAH! I missed this one somehow.

DAMN...I don't think I heard about this!

We also lost Mike Fortuna a couple of weeks ago after a long, hard battle with cancer. I am still a bit bummed out about that one.
