Those were some badazz Vsixes. I got a brief chance to chat with the MC owner (a Canadian) in the staging lanes. Those cars are majorly modded to get those times.

I applaud them.

di..head!!!
The only difference between your car and mine is that you have more money into it. I probably have JUST as much time into mine, you can be sure of that. This year alone I probably have spent some 40 hours working on the engine alone modifying parts fabricating this and that, breaking bolts off . Now we have to add in the dyno time, regular around the city datalogging and subsequent tuning, and all the misc stuff like taking parts back and forth to the machine shop, talking with shop owners, etc.

Sorry to have sounded like a di..head earlier man. I just woke up and couldn't believe that you would seriously say that you were treated poorly by Jason and the event staff. Lets have a beer or somthing and call it good.

Jason,

Thank you for all your efforts I had a BLAST!!!!! I'm sorry about my coolant leak. The radiator in the vette is a be cool unit that has been in the car for 4 years without an incident. It appears that the factory shrouding rubbed a hole in one of the cooling fins. Just a part of racing. Thats ok though I can take even more weight off of the front end by fabing up my own mounts.

Tanner and the rest of the canuck crew. Thanks for the hospitality!

A special thank you goes to my roommate Roman for the morning exercize session. DODGE! LIKE A ROCK! (or two.)

Kevin,

Big thanks to you for all the help through out the entire weekend. Dale doesent know what he missed!

Re: M9 Post-event THANK YOU

I apoligize to everyone for making a mess outta the track. I blew a intake gasket, blew coolant everywhere. It was my fault too, I didn't retorque the intake down after I had built the motor, sorry guys The car is fixed now though, replaced the bad part of the gasket (don't ask) in the hotel parking lot on Sunday morning.

I did however run some decent times considering I was spinning past the 60 ft mark. My best ET was a 12.38 @ 124, and my best MPH was 124.92 (12.4 ET on that run). It was my first time running the car with alot of the new mods, and I was running my street tires. If anyone noticed, I never did get a good burnout because the car kept sliding sideways. Car did great otherwise, I just need to upgrade my brakes, stopping at 125 MPh at the end is kinda tricky with stock brakes.

Thanks again for another great M event Jason and Frezza, I had a blast!

The quick 16 were the stars of the show, everytime they came up to run the stands were full. I know the track got messed up. But it came down the the final four and they did not even get mentioned at the awards.

We had a good time anyways though, thanks.

Re: M9 Post-event THANK YOU

what do you think should happen with the prize money and awards???
i have talked to many fellow pro racers, they all say the same thing, split the pot between the 4 remaining drivers. i think matt said he recieved $350.00 last year and we had alot more people attend this year, what do you say jason?
