Lansing area MODFEST 2004 - May 15th ROLL CALL

Announcing the roll call for the Lansing area MODFEST 2004

Basically, MODFEST is your chance to interact with other car hobbyists. I'll provide the venue & loan you my tools, and you provide the cars, car parts, and labor.

The Lansing rea Modfest 2004 is only one week away, and I would like to know who is coming. So far, I have no definites as to who will have a car there for working on. If all else fails, I'll spend the day finishing off my aluminum cylinder heads that I've been sitting on for a year.

There is a possibility that we'll have an '87 Trans Am GTA with a Vortech & Superrammed engine that needs a suspension upgrade and a torque converter swap.

So, here's your chance to bring over those parts and install them in a clean, lighted garage with assistance from other car enthusiasts!

This isn't necessarily an "all GM" event, BTW

Reply and let me know if you are coming, and if you are bringing a car. We need not only projects, but we also need folks who are willing to help out underneath the cars, run to the parts store, and stuff like that. The garage is equipped with 240VAC, though I don't yet have a MIG welder. If you have one, bring it along and we will be able to do subframe connectors.

p.s.

It looks like I'll also be having slot car races upstairs (Yes, the garage has a second floor) as well as showing car movies on a big screen.

Dan, I'm planning to come over for a little while. There's not much I can do but tell jokes. Or be a foreman. Every job needs a foreman and the more clueless and helpless, the better (based on the foremen I've worked for that is).
