I need advice

Alright, heres the lowdown...

My girlfriend goes to UGA, yes, the university of Georgia. She is there on a scholorship for cheerleading, I get to see her about once every 2 months, and for only 2 weeks. I spend a thousand dollars every time I see her. Those who know me well on here know that she is consuming my life with this crap. She is partying alot, and it is getting really hard to deal with, you know, ballancing my life with her shinanigans. I Love her with all my heart, but I dont know if that is enough to hold me though this relationship, specially since it is getting to be the holliday season and I just found out she will be at a bowl game (likely) when I want to see her again, aint that the ****. Christmas alone, that sounds like fun eh? As I sit here typing this, she is out partying with her friends. What do you guys think?

I agree with the above but not so harsh. If she is out partying then you should be too. You have to make sure things are fair, why doesn't she come visit you? I went through that same thing, trust me its better to move along now, and keep your money. If she is really into you then she would come visit you and do the same things you do for her to you. (I hope that made sense) Good luck.
BTW: I'm 23, in my 6th year of college and have seen many similar situations at school, once you get that bad feeling theres no going back.

Friday night she told me she hitched a ride home from the party with a chick that was trashed. I cant explain how that makes me feel, I have been with her for over 3 years, and there is always something like this to make me upset. She comes to visit me too sometimes, but with her school and football schedules, its really hard to allocate time.

Well guys, thanks for the help so far, please keep it coming (i need it) And if anyone else knows of similar stories and their outcomes, I would appreciate your time. Thanks.

Hmmm. her hitching a ride home with a drunk friend implies that she is irresponsible, it also implies that she is trying to make you jealous. My advice is to go out and have fun, your young-live it up so next time she calls you, you can honestly tell her that you got a ride home with 2 hot wasted chicks; then she how she reacts when the shoe is on the other foot. and the MOST important advice is: DON'T SELL YOUR CAR just to please her or so you can visit her more often, trust me if your relationship does end you will need your car to take it out on and to pick up more chicks in.
I sold my car once because of a girl and it made me resent her even more.

no one can tell you what you already know.....

people change as they get older, there is nothing wrong with keeping in touch and trying to work things out but it has to be understood that all things are brought down a notch when something as large as this move comes about.

much like it was stated previously; if she makes the effort to come to visit with you i would continue to work on it but if you find yourself living your life around hers your setting up to hit a wall very very hard. best advice is to get a new hobby, something to take your mind off of the subject to a degree.

good luck with it.
