Talking Hey! Let's start talking about M7! Official details inside!

Jeez...I just realized we are less than 2 months away from M7!

October 5, 2002 is creeping up on us!

For those who don't know, the M Events are annual one-day racing events in Stanton, MI at the Mid-Michigan Motorplex. It is for all GM cars and is a fun day of bracket racing and meeting up. The past couple of years it has been cold as hell but as a result, the cars run fast as hell. It is pretty common for people to run their best times of the year at an M event.
For those who do know about it, well...I am sure you are going to be there again this year, so please help the event out and spread the word!
BTW, I finally got a real domain name for the event...

http://www.migmevent.com

Cool, eh? All the details are there, so click and start planning for one of the best events in Michigan!

Any questions/comments/suggestions? Let's hear them! Spread the word!

WOO HOO!! Looking forward to it again this year.

I love this line:
ALSO, parties at the event hotel the night before the event are becoming somewhat famous. Please feel free to enjoy yourself but keep the partying at a respectable level.

Steve

Thumbs up

Jason I plan on being there health permitting. I always have a great time and look forward to it every year.
Thank you and the wife for the great effort you always put into it.
For anyone who has never been to a M event this is a must see. A great time to be had by all. Don't remember how many GM cars were there last year but would guess about 70. Can't wait to see everyone there.

The Vert will be in the garage with the motor out by then, but I think I am going to bring the ******* Wagon and a grille. Figure I can burn a bunch of dogs and sell them off for like 75 cents a piece or so. All profits I will donate to the board. That cool with you Jason? That way I can be there and watch in the fun, and still help out a bit.

Heh...that is a VERY cool idea, but if you are gonna sell them at the track, they might have a problem with it since they open their concession stands at the event. Give it a try if you like, but I don't know how long it will last!

My suggestion is to just show up and have some fun like everyone else and watch me run around like a mad man!

I will park the old van under the trees a few lanes over and just run the grille. See how long they will leave me alone. If I get lucky, we make some board cash. Once I am discoverred, I can watch You madman Besides if it is cold, I want to stay warm. We had a grille up there last weekend and I never even saw a track offical. I can keep the stuff in the van, and just put the grille outside. I'm gonna give it a shot! cant hurt!!

I'll be there just as last year, watching and taking pictures.

It's a blast not even racing, although it WOULD be more fun to race.

Cool

I've been thinking about M7 alot lately. It's actually the worst event I go to each year, NOT because of the event though, it's what happens whenever I go to it! My first M event was M5 and I didn't even make it all the way there because of a POS brake hose
M6 I made it to, but busted 3rd gear in my T5 and flattened a cam lobe, but still managed to drive it home. M6 was the last time I drove my car too then I took it apart, and it's still apart!
My M7 is gonna be my lucky year, because I'm not going to race the RS, mostly because I still need a strong trans, driveshaft, rear end, rollcage and subframe connectors, and some nice sticky tires. But I will be cruising it up to show it off

Should be fun anyways!

Joe
