Lightbulb Health Insurance Questions

A family member of mine is moving to a career that involves decent comensation but no benefits. She needs a line on what to do about basic insurance..health, dental, anything else any normal person would want. Does anybody have any info they'd like to share on the subject? What kind of money did you spend doing something like this? Thanks for whatever you can tell me to pass along!

When she leaves her job if they have health insurance she can go on cobra for 18 months. It cost me $768.00 a month for the cobra Bluecross/Bluesheild. That is just medical no dental or eye glasses. At the end of 18 months she can get a ext for another 18 months. I can tell you all about it but you should call me as there is alot to it. After the first year the coverage is less and the price goes up about $150.00. Then they cover less and less things. They give you a hard time and don't want to cover anything. Denny call me 586 558/6694

Depends on what kind of health and stuff the person is in. Personal health-insurance is sooooo frickin expensive, that unless the person goes to the doctor a lot, it's probably better to just stick the money into a savings account.

I take it that there's no way to get this person on another family member's insurance?
