Dynojets on West side of Detroit

I have to get my car dynoed per AI rules before this season starts and I'm looking for a dynojet equipped shop somewhat close to the Walled Lake area. It has to be a dynojet since this is specified in the rules. I called one place near here in Wixom but they cater to Mustangs and he pretty much brushed me off. Any other places out there?

There is a Dynojet place at Pennsylvania and Telegraph in Taylor/Brownstown area. Dyno-Dave, don't have number offhand but call information they do.

Be the Downriver area though...

Livernois Motorsports has a Dynojet.

Sounded like Livernois was taking out the Dynojet and putting the Mustang dyno in the floor. I think they were going to make the Dynojet portable, but no idea when they were going to do that. If they don't have it up and running Dyno Dave can certainly take a look at it. The number I have for Dave is 734 229 1290.

looks like this place has a dyno that would be more precise than a dynojet. Its in Novi near my house, I should probably go over there and check it out.....

Looks like they are mostly an import place, though they're projects seem to be pretty cool.

While interesting for comparison purposes, I think I'd rather have my car setup and tied down on the Dynojet or Mustang Dynos.

I'm not overly fond of the idea of hanging my car by the axle ends clamped to two floor stations of the Dynapack for a dyno run with no tires on it. Sure the floor stations are rated for 3,000lbs per axle set but it doesn't leave me with a war fuzy feeling.

thats actually the first time i've ever seen a dyno set up that way. Its definatly got the potential to be more acurrate, but I got the same non-fuzzy feeling about hanging my car like that.

Hey, I tested a set of those out in my shop before I bought my MD1750. I know they'll work fine for a twin turbo 302. ...but I have to admit I'm more comfortable with things being a little more secure on the rollers. However, this gentleman is looking for a Dynojet specifically beacuse that is the "spec dyno" for NASA AI certification. We should have the Dynojet working again in a month or two, the MD has priority at the moment.

Thanks. I appreciate the reply. My first race is April 4 weekend, so March would be good. If it takes longer than that I'll have to go somewhere else.

BTW, do you know Eric Vickerman? He works with me at PVO and is converting his T2 Camaro to AI this year. You're apparently one of his sponsors.
