anyway, went and checked out a new shop in flint
called hardcore motorsports/1bad ls1 racing.
its the home of the worlds fastest LS1.
i must say i was very impressed!
we talked to the guy there for a couple of minutes and they definately have some cool stuff planned for the future!
car gatherings, car clubs, shows etc. etc.
they also have some great display cars to drool over.

I live like 10 minutes from 1badls1.inc
I went there a few weeks back and looked around before they were all set up. It looks like it will be kinda pricey but we will see. The shop is on Clio road which is real close to I75 just north of Flint. They are adding a dyno jet so I will be using that to see what the ole vert can do since the addition of the 227/233 cam.

Hey Stratos, its Eric, the guy with the white bird that knows Fadi. I have met you before. How much did they charge ya for the gear install? I remember before that some people were saying their prices were a little to high and was just curious since you said they will match anyones prices.

 

There are board members here that do gear installs. I doubt they would match their prices.

It is a nice place. Nitrous is cheap $2.50 lb. I'm still thinking about the $3000 quoted for a chrome moly roll cage.

 

Yeah, Scott (1bad86z?) does gear swaps in his front driveway and he is good. He did my bosses gears in his 2000 t/a and they haven't failed him since.

 

Can't wait to see your beast, Stratos.

BTW, great place up in Flint.

 

I hate to say this but when I-75 gets ripped up soon it's going to be Hell to get there.
