bill, shoot tsp a call. see if they can recomend a cam for ya. Im sure that cam would be great. is it ideal for that head/intake combo? they'd have a better guess cause you know theyve done a bunch of cams with those heads. me personally, I dont like middle of the road cams. I'll give up street manners all day long if I can gain some HP. but I dont drive my cars like you do. Im just hoping if we do put in a cam, that you'll be happy and not have this conversation again next year. but then again, look at al's combo. Id never think a cam that small would go that ET. but im sure his car is alot diff. then yours.

TSP gave me a few choices and that was the one I liked the best. They said that cam would be worth 20rwhp/tq over the cam I have in there now. Maybe you are right about giving up some street manners. I will talk with them again and see what they suggest. I don't want to do this again either.

I will wait until you have it apart anyway to see what you find. Money is tight so I want to make sure there isn't something wrong besides the gasket.

Let's plan for the car to come out to you next Monday if that will work from you. I will not be in a hurry so when you can fit it in. Maybe the weather will be nice enough to allow me to get the tune tweaked?
