Congrats Z-9s...New Best

Congrats to Billingsley Racing Team Member Chris Sikora on a 9.49@144 pass in his Vortech LT1 at the Southern Shootout. With a conservative tune-up and launch, even better et's are expected!

Whats most impressive is I hear the car wasn't even done when they got there! They finished it in LA and pulled it off the trailer for that 9.49.

Good luck in the future Chris!

Yep trailered the car down in a non-running state.

That 9.4 was the 2nd pass ever on this combo.

Congrats Chris you deserve you have a lot of time into Project Showcar.

So it is an LT1 engine? I know it has the LTx intake(LT4 IIRC), I thought it was something else. Great run none the less!!

Thanks guys . The car is a true LT4 =heads /intake/ block all GM this pass was done with very low boost on an 8 rib belt. We were just trying to get the car out in public so that people can see they still exist.(damn ls1) This was done footbraking and short shifting we will get back out this weekend locally and run the cogs and the transbrake and see what this old "LT4" can do . Thanks again Chris

Glad to know you do post on this board Chris, I was wonderning. I didn't get to meet you but Brian (Madman) has spoken to me about your car many times in the past. His words just didn't do it justice. That car is immaculate and your attention to details is unparalled. Awesome ride and congrats on the "shakedown" run
