has anyone done this to their car? I want to get that big hunk of extra weight and space consumption off the firewall. Any ideas?
I need to do it asap...would be nice to do that before replacing my exhaust gaskets... And I need to have the car back on the road by tomorrow evening

Makes a hell of a difference doesnt it. I am removing my heater core also with all the a/c and hoses. Both a/c and heater hoses. It sure looks like a different engine bay now.

Yep, got ALL that stuff out, my whole dash is sitting in the drivers side where the seat was... steering column is out, etc. Tomorrow I get to start reassembly
