Unhappy Bring out the Beaterz!

Well being the first year as an Automobile Enthusiasts and dreading the weightless white stuff . I was wondering what everyone use’s as a winter beater?

I have a 1992 Taurus as my WB.

I don't think a new F-twofiddy counts as a beater.

1993 Cavalier RS The SWEET *** 4 door model in Brilliant off white with gray cloth interior. We'll see how the new 195's bite in the snow this year Other creature comforts include heat(From only the 2 middle vents and defrost, wipers, BIG windshield washerfluid bottle(rain-x fluid of course), ABS!!!(Sometimes it kicks on and off...not safe!)..Tape deck that eats tapes, rearview mirror melted off in the sun this summer...grrr.. i officially messed up 2 of the doors now so that pass. side front doesn't open from outside and the driverside rear won't open at ALL...REAR DEFROST...Oooo Ahhhh..works very good My driver seat has a nice sway to it because one of the tracks is snappedI roll like a gangsta basically...:hatbackwardsmily:

I think the only damn thing i like about this car is the ABS. It's kind of fun to just romp on the brakes and not worry about going off the road........click click click click click...stopped

The steering and brakes are better feeling than my IROC...wierd aye!?

Last year it had a bad O2 sensor, and an injector was stuck wide open The piston top and combustion chamber in that cylinder were cleaner than my new stroker pistons..hehe..new exhaust, used injectors, air filter, brakes, head gasket, plugs, wires, tires....it's a champ now and it's taking me to go get Chinese food right now while my header calmly sits outside of my IROC because i'm in the middle of a gasket swap!

1988 Pontiac Fiero. Black and Gold easter egg zig zag paint job. Lets see, so far this year the battery went dead. Replaced with a new one. 2 weeks later the starter bolts broke off in the block and I dragged the started around on the road for about 5 miles or so. Got that fixed Sunday. This week the clutch won't hold pressure. Last but not least, it started having a gas leak today. I think I'm cursed.

Yes, you know the van well. All I can say is the chicks dig the van. Besides, I have to keep her. If it wasnt for the van, all the neighbor kids would be knocking on my door selling candy. When they see the van, they stay wide of my door. I have literally had people stop me before and ask what I was doing in their neighborhood when I was out looking for a house to buy. I think they were afraid I was a kidnapper or something. God I love the van

beat this!

1989 Bonneville SE
Current Status: numerous flat tires, paint flaking off, rusting through on the bottom of all 4 doors, NO HEAT... I REPEAT NO HEAT, 4 year old spark plugs and wires, perhaps a FACTORY installed O2 sensor, spoiler is attached on 1 side so it flaps in the wind at highway speeds, grey cloth interior with all applicable springs sticking through the drivers seat just like they should , front suspension is shot... tie rods are worn out as well as the ball joints I presume also.

BUT I do have steering wheel controls... the buttons in the middle that control the radio and formerly the heater.

Its the Bonnie....

I just purchased my neighbors 89 Ford Ranger. The only nice thing is that he was a mechanic so I know it has been maintained very well.

Well, i have a few choices for sloshing around in the white stuff, a 2001 E-350 work van, or 2002 Sierra Z-71 ext.cab, or when the going gets tough then i'll break out the Arctic Cat ZR600...

:singing: let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....

later
