Best locl place to buy blank CDs?

where can I buy some blank cd media at a decent price and not have to put up with all the rebates that everyone seems to make you want to go through? I want to try out the new burner. I haven't had one since 4x was considered fast

I'd rather it be a local place too...too close to the weekend to mess with mail order...

I looked at their ad...there was the same thing again... $10 for a stack of CDs, and then of course thats after waiting for 2 or 3 mail in rebates to come back to you 2-3 months later....

Target has some TDKs on sale this week... a "cake box" of 50 for $9, no rebates to mail in.

TDK is one of the good brands, Verbatim DataLife Plus is another... and I think Fuji is good too. But don't go for the cheapo store brand or anything like that. They're junk.

Keep your eyes on http://www.slickdeals.net They often post about places like CompUSA or OfficeMax that will have deals on a 100 spindle of blank CDR's for $10 with no rebates.

I usually go to Sam's for blank CD's. They carry the Verbatim's.

Yeah I was going to add that onto my post because I forgot it originally. Sam's Club has great prices on Verbatim CDRs and you don't have to wait around for a sale. (Although lately they haven't had the DataLife Plus ones....)

I checked the ads from Sundays paper and Becca was right. Target has a spindle of 50 TDK 48X CDR for $9. I am going to head there and grab a spindle or two.

Anyone know where to get cases cheap? or even those cheap cd envelopes like they include with hardware driver cds?
