Anyone want to help me do an engine swap?

I messed up my engine, and I am getting a new one, so does anyone want to help me put it in, and get the old one out? I will supply the beer and tools if anyone wants to help. Hopefully with a few people that know what they are doing we could get it done in a day. Anyone interested?

I know a few people that may be interested. We just fired up dreamer1q's monster tonight for the first time. His brothers LS1 gets fired up tomorrow and my L98 Iroc will be completed this week I hope. I wonder..... I'll ask Quentin if it'd be somthing that he is interested in.

By the way, did you ever get yourself a Nextel??? I completely forgot about it! Sorry man!

Nope, I never did, because of this. My engine went that week, so I decided to hold off on the cell phone. I wondered what happened to you though, you never got back to me. So you think a few people might be interested?

Cool, it will be in three or four weeks. I am getting the engine next sunday, but it needs a few parts, so I need more money first. Should be relatively easy though, just swapping complete engines so it shouldn't be too hard.

Cool, I'm sure it will take a full day, so I will let everyone know the exact date. I don't even have the engine yet, but I am picking it up in a week. How long should it take to take out the old engine and put in the new one? They are both lt1's but the new one is from a 95, so the opti will be different. Is that going to be a big deal, because I heard the wire wouldn't be long engough on the new one or something?

I've never done a swap on an LT1, but I could lend an extra set of hands if you need them. Just let me know when.
