anyone need a nice stereo?

i no longer have a use for a radio so i'm selling my setup. the head unit is a premier 900R with a matching premier 12 disc changer. the head unit is 3 years old as far as when it came out, but they still sell it today,i bought it new 2 years ago but i've used it maybe a 1/4 of that since the car is always in storage or at a shop.

i also have an assortment of other things that i will be getting rid of soon as well so let me know if there is anything your looking for. i have 2 600 4 way premier amps, 2 kicker solobarics, 1 ppi and many other accessories.

i have 1,100 tied up into both the head unit and changer. i'm getting rid of it for well less than half; everything is in perfect working order with original packaging, instructions, etc and has maybe 6 months of actual use. will accept any reasonable offer.

Does the head unit come with a remote? What would you want for just that? email me. What are the model #?

I would like to get one for my truck. If it was a real good price, I would be interested. Thanks

well i doubt your going to find a 1100 dollar radio for a real "good" price. i'm looking for around 350 for just the headunit or 400 for both the changer and the headunit. if i can't get that much i'll let it sit on the shelf.

which amps are you asking about....the premier are 600x4 with very low distortion. all of the equipment is audio competition worthy.

i think less then half is a very good price so if anyone is interested let me know.

So you are saying that the Premier amps put out 600 watts per channel and it's a 4 channel amp for a total of 2400 watts ?

What are the specs on the ppi amp?

Once again, what is the model #. It sounds like a good deal, but we all know that stereo equipment that was sold for $1000 3 years ago, might very well sell for $300 today new. So I just want to know the model # so I can look it up and see how good of a deal it is in comparison to what I could purchase the same thing new for today.

Would the changer fit anywhere in a full size truck? Thanks.

(thanks for the replies everyone!)

i have the headunit, cd changer left, and 1 premier amp left.....

premier's largest they made at the time and since then is 600 4 channel amp. i suppose that should be more specified huh!

the ppi is a pcx 2400 i paid 1200 for it; but i just sold that for 800.

ken what are you considering, i'm pretty open as i have no use for any of the parts so there is no reason to let it sit..........

Black Sunshine/ 00SS; i know very well what your talking about and i understand your concern. you can go on the internet right now and if your lucky to find someone who still has it pick the model up anywhere from 400-500 new if you can find it(i have seen them as low as 300 on ebay if your into that). like i said previous, it's a 900R equivalent somewhat to a 940R if you could compare it to anything. it's the second generation el display. internally it has more power than the newer 920,940+ models, but graphics wise it won't allow you to upload pictures or any of the newer "novelty" items on the current $1,000 models. the biggest difference besides all the xm type stuff would be the appearance as the tunning and volume are done rocker style while the newer models use a large face dial. the biggest point is it will not play mp3 discs unlike the new versions, it will play anything else though and i've never had a problem with multiple burned cd types.

here is a picture of an older pioneer 8000 model that gives an idea as to what the face looks like! (this was pulled off of ebay)

http://images.cardomain.com/installs...16_41_full.jpg

premier and pioneer are essentially the same company but completely different products; typically the name itself will add another $100; they use different internals as well as many more features.

the changer is the standard 12 disc premier size changer, it is the highest model they had at the time which is also the same today except the newer version has a redesigned shell. the changer itself you could pick up new for around 225.....if you go to a local discount shop you should find them for around 150-175. it has played any cd that i've ever put in it wether it was burned or purchased. it will not play mp3's.

i know that this stuff looses value even if i hadn't opened it which is why i'm not asking that much so if anyone is interested in the rest let me know!
