The wire to the connector on the oil pressure sensor of my wife's Tacoma has pulled loose.

Since the wire is part of the underhood harness, I think I am SOL.

I'd like to just install a mechanical or electrical guage, but women being women, she'd never notice "0" pressure on a guage.

Is anyone aware of a guage that comes with a buzzer or lite?

You should be able to go down to your local Toyota dealer and buy just that section of the harness and splice it in yourself. You might have to explain it to the parts dept. a bit, but they should have it available.

I have done this for a couple of vehicles that I have owned when I had a broken wire or connector I needed to replace.

 

The light is easy, just get a sender unit from any race supply shop that activates a power line at a certian pressure, say 10 pounds. Hook a shift light, or whatever to it and there ya go. You now have a warning light.
