whenever I've purchased a car, and noticed gunk during repair (some are going to hate me for this), I just finish the repair, and sell the car.

Its just a horrible circumstance, I had it happen on a 1991 Mustang 5.0 LX back in 2001, Loved the car, but it wasn't worth it (atleast for me at the time, college was already to much), But to each their own.

I hate that trash... I hated selling it, I hate when its sold to people. Its never been good, all kinds of independent testing has shown it.

Alright. I'll get it out this week.

With the mileage and pressure issues should I Run a 10w40? 20w50? What would you folks recommend.

The rear end worked great. The engine let go a few weeks later after my cam swap though. Ended up getting rid of the car as I was just about to head to college unfortunately.

Now im trying to get back into the game.
