Where in Central NJ to bring WS6 for warranty/repair work??>>

Anyone here in the central NJ area know of a reputable and decent place to bring my new WS6 to get warranty work done??? I've been searching all over the place, but they all seem pretty crappy. Where can I go where they will take care of my baby and not destroy it?

who do I go to and what service writer should I deal with, and what tech should I have work on the car?

Has to be somewhere within a 30 min drive from EB. This will copied in Eastern forum as well.

-Rt. 18 is a definite NO!!!!!!
-Perrine has a mid 20yr who likes working on them, but service writer seems like a bi@tch!
-Rt 1Pontiac weren't all that great via my buddies 95 Formula

Anyone go to Greenbrook Pontiac in bound brook? Any good person there to work with??

Thanks all for any feedback!!!!

hey i had issues dealing w/ a dealership doing warranty work. royal chevy first denied a problem my car after on beating it on road tests, then said the prob clearly wasnt covered under warranty. it was a blown out strut on a car w/ 5000 miles. i brought it to flemington chevy gmc pontiac buick, where they promptly corrected the prob under warranty. they might be just over 30mins though. good luck.

I had warranty done on my 94 Formula at Kemper Pontiac/Cadillac, Rt. 22 in Bridgewater. I didn't buy it there (bought it in CA) but I knew them from past purchases of Pontiacs. They are extremely honest. They replaced my starter and rebuilt my differential under warranty, no questions asked - all work was saticfactory, car returned in good condition.

When I had a problem with plugs, even though they knew I ran nitrous on the car, they replaced the plugs and wires under warranty. They did caution that because of the nitrous, they would only do it once, not again.

The only problem I ever had with aftermarket parts was when I took it in for the plugs. They saw my MSD-6A and told my that it would interfere with their factory diagnostics.... I doubt that it would, but I told them to look carefully, and they would see I had already returned the ignition to stock before dropping the car off. If you have extensive mod's, they might not accept the car for routine work.

They seem to be very careful with the car as far as keeping it clean... maybe because they also have to satisfy some demanding Cadillac owners.

I know the shop is run by one of the Kemper brothers, but I can't remember his name.

PS: Are you in EB? I am. Seldom drive my Formula on the street any more though.

I'd strongly recommend taking it where you bought it, thats if you bought it new. All dealerships are the same when it comes to waranty work "where did you buy it?". At the dealership where I work, if you didn't buy the car from us you don't get a loaner car and you get put further back on the waiting list. Dealerships don't make money on waranty.

Injuneer, Yup, I live over in EB.

The car was bough from Phoenix Pontiac in PA. Awesome dealership that does fantastic work, but to drive 2hrs to get warranty work done is not an option.

Is there a particular person I should deal with in Kemper Pontiac? Any particular tech I should go to?

Thanks!
