We're Engaged!!!
Rick proposed to me yesterday!
He earns 300 points for creativity on this one and I can honestly say it was worth the wait!! We went to the K&N Summernationals at Englishtown Raceway Park this past weekend.
On Friday night, I had my picture taken with John Force.
On Sunday, my dad and brother were forcing me to get my picture taken with John again and I didn't want to... it was hot, I was all disgusting looking and the final rounds were coming up! The shoved me up to John and as you can see by the rest of the pictures, Rick was able to get John to hold the sign up for him. I said yes, of course.
John said congrats to us and autographed the sign wishing us the best of luck.
It was a great day!!! A little redneck, perhaps... but it is how Rick and met. And John Force will always be my favorite Pro driver.

WOOHOO!!!! Congrats Jacki!! Thats totally cool getting John Force to hold the sign... I was beginning to wonder if Rick was ever going to ask you
The ring is awsome... Did he pick that one out himself?
I was there on Saturday and we stood right in John Forces pit and watched them tear the engine down and put it back together. I was standing in almost that same spot!

i looked at the first pic as im reading the post and i was like "wow, jackie is engaged to rick who really turns out to be john force! or did john get jealous and push rick out of the way!?!"

I helped him out a little in picking out the ring.
It was great. If John had qualified #1, Bob Frey (NHRA Division 1 Director) was going to get Rick and I on the stage before the race Sunday morning so he could have John help him do it then. But, it was a crazy weekend for John - filming the last episode of "Driving Forces," Castrol is based out of N Jersey so the he had tons of reps to entertain from there and the car wasn't up to par (not the #1 qualifier).
It still worked out great and I'll certainly NEVER forget that moment!!!

That is awesome, or as John would say; "YEAH WE HAD AN AWESOME PROPOSAL AND THE GUY DID A GREAT JOB!!!"
