I am looking for a place to get my car dyno'ed n tuned somewhare here on long island. Anyone know of a place?

 

Vette Doctors is the only place that does LS1s on L.I.. If you're willing to make the trip, I'd suggest Cartek or East Side Performance.

 

my cars an LT1 thou, but i would assume all of thos places do both?

 

Considering its a Low C.R blown car i think you might wanna speak to Shalin Patel or Christian Millard Either one are down in teh Del, Maryland, VA area but are some of the best tuner's in the country.. IMHO anyway.. I know christian fools around on the LT1 edit list.. If you do a search on either name you should find some contact info.. Did your brother? (SS) run a blue 69? a week or so ago????

 

talk to joe of j&b automotive in rockville centre. he's a local racer and engine builder. knows our cars well and has the resources to do what you want. only local i let touch my car when i screw things up. all his rides are sub 10 second cars.

Whos car is a low cr blown car? did i miss something? And no my brother didnt run a blue 69, he just got the car 2 weeks ago and had to replace the gas tank cuz the shipping company put a hole in it...

 

wa hooo finally setup my own account... yeah i havnt raced anyone yet.... unless you count the stang at college, hes been drivin around campus like his car was fast all year, even has skinnies in the front, but only 245's in the back?... finally gotmysef a f-bod... pulled off the light, nice and slow. 1st...2nd...3rd... i shift to 4th n he guns it in 3rd, i try to punch it but then i realised that i no longer drive an auto... so i shift back to 3rd... and burn the *** outa him... hehe
But yeah I still cant race stick for my life, im finally able to not worry myself about stalling out.... if i ever go full throttle, its only thru 2nd... then i just leave it in nuteral lol

i've met him before.. does he have the capability to program? i believe most of his car's are carb'd not efi.. It would be nice to have a local guy who's like us and has the resources to tune efi and not charge out the rear end.. Someone told me some places want 250 just to do the Rear 02 sensor delete or just to change the gear ratio so the speedo is correct.. i'll do lt1 cars for free if its a 95 but.. geez.. 250 bux...

 

yeah well my brothers website lies... kinda... I dont have the charger installed... Im going to install it next summer. This would be because I still owe a ****load of money in my loan and the fact that i bought the car never driving stick before
but as for $250 for that little ****, I think your better off going to SLP if ure near jersey, I talked to the guy 2 weeks ago n he said like 150 for a dyno and light tuning? But if you have a fuel regulator they do multiple dyno runs and tune the **** outa your computer and regulator for 825$ They say they can get 10-15 extra out of a stock engine, but thats if you have the money to blow.... and at this time I dont :P
