silly idea???
hey gang,
a bunch of us had planned to hit atco this weekend, but mother nature put a stop to that. now they only have 1 weekend left and hardly anyone is gonna be able to go.
i was wonderign who might be up for a weekend trip south to get in soem winter testing? maybe down to the carolina's where the tracks stay open all winter and the ground doesn't completely freeze?
maybe try for a mid january date to see if we can get a crew together.
just thinking that soem of us would liek to get an early jump on practicing for next season.

i wanna take my new toy, 1971 grand prix model sj(455/th400/12bolt/3.73 posi) out for soem tuning soem time soon. i know my camaro will not be ready for teh openign of the season and i figure i can bracket race teh daily beast until it is done. the only problems being that i have only been in 3 brackets in teh last year and a half and i have no idea what this tank will run(approx 4200lbs with driver
)
looks liek the furthest north we may be able to get is soemwhere in teh carolinas, but it woudl be a cool trip if we can do it. i am gonna call around to soem of the southern tracks and see if mayeb the guys on teh south east board have any suggestions. maybe we can have soem fun and do soem sort of civil war thing....lol

There is no way I could go because of school
.
I did want to mention that you should make sure the track that you want to go to is open because my brother lives in Clemson SC and the track he normally goes to (Atlanta Dragway) is closed for the winter. He's been going to Commerce (1/8th mile).
Just something for you to look into before making any plans
