Re: Roll call for Cops~n~Rodders

Two different forecast for me tomorrow;
30 percent chance of showers in the afternoon.
40 percent chance of showers throughout the day.

I don't think I'll be bringing out the black Trans after more than a week of detailing with those types of numbers. I wish there was a way to be able to get in contact with someone to see if the show is going to be held or if it will be postponed until next weekend.

Re: Roll call for Cops~n~Rodders

Current weather forecast is for some thunderstorms around midnight, and clearing by sunrise. Its 11pm, and it started raining a few minutes ago. Prior to that, there wasn't any significant rain all day. I'm about 15 minutes from the DeVry location.

Better clear up.... I've got John's Z28 parked in my driveway.......

Talk about stupid eh!

Hope I make it to Sears in time!

Butch... nice to have met you. Hopefully you had a safe ride home.

While it was a dang bit chilly, it turn out to be a nice day weather wise. Glad I listen to you all....

yea it was def a little bit chilly but it got decently nice by the end of the show. It was also nice to meet you Butch and let me know how the Trop-Care swirl cutter works out for you. Thanks again for your business.

Re: Roll call for Cops~n~Rodders

Ron, Brian, George, John, Fred & whomever else, I can't remember everything, it was also a pleasure meeting you all & even though it was a chilly, I enjoyed myself.

I left when George left & I got home about 8 or so.

I took George's advice & took RT1 to the Parkway & the Tappen Z.
Nice stop & go traffic for RT1, & man-O-man does the Garden State Parkway have a million tolls or what!
Thank God for my EZ Pass!

But I was able to avoid the GWB, always a good thing!

Miles traveled home was nearly the same as traveled to the show, 261.
Gas mileage at an average of 75 MPH each way & for the trip down as I mentioned, was in pouring rain 95% of the trip, was a very crappy 20 MPG.
But on the way back it was up to 25, not bad considering the size of the tires I have.

Brian, when it warms up I'll try the swirl cutter & let you know how it does.

I'm thinking I may need my body shop pal for this one though.

Re: Roll call for Cops~n~Rodders

Thanx to all that came.

We had about 50 total F-Bodys, and over 350 cars show. Not bad considering the cool/cloudy weather start to the day, but at least it cleared up and got warm.
Not the usual 550-600 cars or so, but still not bad.

You made a good move by taking the GSP up to the Tappan Zee to 87 to 684 to 84.
Its always better than the GWB to 95, and a bit more scenic too.

I certainly had fun and we need to get together more often! It always nice to be able to sit and talk, always seems we get spread out or busy when we do track events.

We need to plan for more cruising and picnics this year!
