QTP EFI Day This Saturday

Our QTP GM EFI Day at Englishtown is this saturday. Should be a nice fun day. Weather looks a little warm but not that bad. Standard bracket racing and our QUICK TIME 8 race. Fastest 8 LS1/LS2/LS6 F Bodys and Corvettes get to race heads up on a pro tree. Should have a nice turn out of fast cars there. I hear the boys from East Side will be there

We are also having a caravan to the track at our warehouse on sat. We are leaving 7:15am.

So who is going??

Re: QTP EFI Day This Saturday

I might come up just to watch. I am on call this week with the new job. Its really my first official "on call" since I started the job and I am not too sure how it will go. So far every week the guy on call gets called in for something. I dont want to have to load up the camaro and head home just to get my truck and head to work. That being said I might just bring the work truck and watch... if I get called I can just go.

I'm comming down for the slick tire class unless my car is too loud. Then the mighty truck will be running in the radial tire class. I'm gona try to get the car into the 12.0's

Brian, race the EFI "work" truck. They said its ok for some short personal use. 1/4 mile is a short run.

lol, you know I actually thought about that. If I had some of that white magnetic stuff to cover the name I probably would. You know that 6.0L is bad ***...

Actually I am not going to make it. Something came up and I have to go to work tomorrow morning for a few hours. I'll be out the end of the season I swear!!!! With the camaro too

Re: QTP EFI Day This Saturday

Good news bad news. Good news is that my car is quiet for E-town and I got the car to run a 12.0 index. Bad news is with 3 cars left my radiator overflow container cracked and spewed in the staging lanes. I didn't want to take a risk of dumping on the track so I with drew the car. !@#$!@#$% piece of plastic. But there is next week.

Jim at least you were going rounds, you probably would have cleaned up if it wasnt for the broken bottle. Its just a piece of plastic and sometimes crap happens.

Thanks Brian. The last 3 cars left were all stinkey lousey bracket racers. The other 2 drivers were cutting good lights and running on the numbers. It would have been a good race.

I stole the container from the red car and I'm ready to go. I'll be running street and heavy at maple next Saturday. It will be the first time the teal car has seen street in almost 3 years. Should be fun. Maybe I'll see ya at Island.
