Peace Bridge traffic question

Anyone know what the Peace Bridge is like at ~4:30 on a Friday for car traffic? Will it be a problem? I am going to try to get up to Cayuga for one last track day.

Rich, I would suggest driving up I190 to the Lewiston Bridge (I think that is what the name is). That is where I always cross....it is the north most crossing point. That puts you right on the QEW, and you dont have to go thru Niagra Falls (downtown) at all. Not much traffic there either.

I just went over the Lewiston bridge today around 10am and it was a 30 minute wait. They are doing construction and it is down to one lane. I don't know how it will be at 4:30 or 5pm.

Rich, I have'nt met you yet but I will probably be riding up with Steve( he's going ) and If I may make a suggestion, The rainbow bridge is probably the best bet. 2 weeks ago fri. when Steve and I went to Protech for his dyno session, the lewiston bridge was a parking lot even at 1:30 pm. The peace bridge is probably even worse. The earlier we leave the better .

I've had to go to clifton hills twice in the past two weeks and both times I have only waited about 5 mins to cross. I went over the bridge that goes right in front of the falls. I dont know how far away the QEW is from there.

I am not sure if the QEW is the best way to Cayuga though. I was thinking the Peace Bridge to Route 3 through Ft. Erie.

checking out the map it would take more time than we would save if we went over the rainbow bridge. It appears that taking the peace bridge will ultimately get us there the fastest.

Peace Bridge to QEW. 2nd exit is Thompson Rd. Take Thompson Rd. south to highway #3. Turn right (west) to town of Cayuga, continue on #3 through town, across river, turn left on second road on left, Kohler Rd. Follow Kohler Rd. for 4 miles, track is on left hand side. First gate is racer entrance.

Rich is on the ball

Rich has it figured out. You guys once you cross the boarder are probably only 1/2 hr to 40 min to Cayuga. I wish I had time I would come out and watch but Friday night is write off for me. Please be careful Cayuga (TMP) is my home track and I can't put it down on a Friday night in July because of the lack of glue on Friday nights. Maybe since its the last hurrah for the year they will spray I hope so. I hate going guardrail to guardrail after the 1/8th cause they only spray 660 ft. Just walk the track before you hit it please?? If they glue TMP(cayuga) can rock the house but without it.... Good luck guys
