I will be there weather permitting! I will try the speed shift thing and go for a 10.5 second ET. You are all welcome to come and watch the T56 take a puke

It sure is fun when you line up against a big block, tubbed out race car with no mufflers and give him a good race in a car you drove to the track

F-bud: I think you may need that motor . It sounds like you've already figured it out, but I was talking to Bob last night and as we suspected, oil everywhere is a sign of major blow-by. He held out some hope though. A possible cause could be just rings.

The best thing is to get the motor out and tear it down. It may be easily fixed after all, but it's gonna have to come out no matter what.

Thats what I was afraid of Rich but confirmation hurts even worse.

Now is it better to just re-ring the motor? Or get a whole new bottom end and swap it for another one? Im looking for the cheapest option here.

Thanks

Matt, yeah....call Todd or Mark at 607-776-7661. It is a salvage yard that I have good ties with. They are cool guys.....tell them that you got their info and are a friend of mine. The car is a 44,000 mile 95TA.

Let me know how you make out.
