I'd be up for the Jet Boats, but I am not sure there's anyplace near there I'd care to park my car. It's been a while since I've been up there.

Anyone know?

Of course, this is optimistically based on my actually having my car out by then I am waiting on the converter to come back from Coan, so it's about 50:50 at this point. It's also possible that I will have the parts but still be working on the car on the 12th. If that's the case, I could invite anyoe who likes over later and could sit on my deck and smoke cigars or something like that.

It sounds like people will be getting together on the 12th. You coming, my young Jedi?

My roomate is from the bahamas and we start school on the 14th. I have to pick him up from the airport saturday at 7pm. Maybe i'll make him walk

So whats going and where? I know were getting together, but are we doing anything cool? Old people and cool dont seem to mix well...

Maybe I'll give you a ride in my "wheelchair", if it's running. That would likely turn you into an old man on the spot

Actually, it seems a little vague at this point.

The plan is this:

Saturday July 12th, 5pm at our Buffalo meeting location (Exit 49 on the Thruway), left at the light right after the toll booths and Bob Evans is right there. We meet in the back parking lot there.

We will grab some food first and just catch up on things. After that, whatever. Jet boats sound fun, but probably not something that would work well for a car club get together. Ideas for after dinner entertainment are accepted Thanks for yours Rich, that is an option (although I dont smoke)....but definatly will be nice just to chill

Post up if you are coming.
Thanks, Jason

Yeah sorry guys but Im doing a bad job so far with this one. Plainly put Buffalo sucks as far as things to do. There is the waterfront but all there really is there is a breakerwall and slips for the boats.

Restaurants are decent here...maybe there is a car show or get together going on...hmm.

Well, I don't drink. But I have been known to eat at times and a good cigar is one of the few pleasures an old guy like me has left, along with driving a wickedly fast car

Anyway, 5pm on the 12th is good. I really, really, really hope to have the car out by then. It is possible that will be the first day it's out. That Saturday is looking more and more like the day we will be putting the tranny back in.

I eat Bacon Cheesburgers and race my snowboard 60mph down the hill I wish my car was fast!

I will be sporting my "new" stock motor'd car at the meeting nothing like dropping a bone stock LT1 back into your car until you can make enough money to get my raised runner motor together LOL Hopefully only a couple months of it tho....it will be better than driving my caprice

Its funny to think that I have a rollbar in my car that costs the same as this new motor!

go-cars would be fun again....I am up for whatever. Just chillin is fun. Its not about "Buffalo" to me, rather hanging out with my good friends that are into LT1/LS1 stuff To me, that is what is important with the club.

I look forward to seeing everyone.

Dave, not sure why we meet later....we just always did. I think mabye in the past some of the guys have had things to do during the day or something.

It would be nice to have some earlier meetings in the future tho.

Oh yeah, Dave....I will have something for you at the meeting
