OTOH, Bob Metcalf was already giving me the eye after the 140mph pass, I think I am pushing the limits of what I can get away with at NYIRP.

LOL! Bob is pretty lax too I find that comment about him pretty funny!

Well they save allot with the Aluminum block. It helps. Also allot of them don't seem to be running much cage which also save weight over a car with some like 8 or 10 point cage in it. Then you rape the car and it will get pretty light. Safety is an issue with those cars. IMHO some of them are going fast enough to need some real safety gear. After you have your first track crash you will know exactly what I am getting at. I want to be light but safe too but I have a plan...my car is getting lighter as we talk...I'm on a diet

I went down to 15psi on the boost and was running two #52 N2O jets and ~975psi in the bottle. Equates to a little more than 200hp from the nitrous.

Very true Vince, Sanders also dipped into some lexan and carbon fiber body panels if I remember correctly.

I have a guy in MI that's down to 2700lbs (LT1) with out the full motor in the car. (just the block) So with him it should be in the 2900lbs range. That's stupid light.

Rich, dam nice numbers. It's good to see a real street car run that fast around here.

Jay, you had a big hard on for NA stuff now your going to run boost and the RR's! What happened? Is Rich's car that much of a religous experience?

I know that matt and myself didn't re-sleeve. And I dont believe that Rich had to eiether but i'm sure someone will let us know. I dont think that you have to worry about that untill you are building an LT-1 bigger that 4XX cubes. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

You cant "resleeve" an LT1 andy. You would just do more of an overbore or start with a new block. LS1's you can resleeve. And toda, LT1's are iron, LS1's aluminum, thus an aluminum sleeve, although there are iron LS1 blocks also.
