Hmmm
Well depending on what kinda data you needed to record, if its something simple Im sure a Tech2 could record it... Only problem is I dont work for a chevy dealer anymore so I dont know IF i can get one... I will ask a few friends, they may have Snap-On scanners that do the same thing as a Tech2... Once i get a job tho soon i am going to buy a damn Snap On or Tech2... Prolly a snapon becuase they are easier to work with...

What is you car doing?? Gimme some info....
Steve

Well, it's not doing anything noticeable. Just running very VERY crappy times for the mods i have done. I need to see what kind of o2 readings i'm getting, spark, KR. I'm either running rich/lean/something?

Dude you wont see much better than that with street tires.. my VERY best, with only SLP Tuned Length LT Headers and 3" Flowmaster Catback was 13.05 @ 110.20mph on bald street tires, that was with every shift deadnuts perfect... I usually get 13.10-13.30's on average... thats about right for our cars with bolt-on's... your car is not runnning bad for the bolt ons you got...

However I do see your point if you can adjust timing and **** like that you can prolly pick up some more power.... Still 13.30's is movin for a near stock Z man... is yours an A4 or M6?? whats your 60' time?

Best run to date is 13.303 @ 104.65 w/ a 2.132 60'

What gets me is how some stock ls1's are seeing 13.1-13.4 stock. When i'm modded and running nearly the same times.

Car is an A4 with crappy 2.73s in the rear. On slicks, if i managed to cut a 1.8 60', i would be in the 12's. ( is that even possible with my mods?)

Don't think too many LS1s run low 13s stock. That is very rare. 95% of the ones I see run 13.6-14.2 @ 100-105 mph. Your car isnt doing too bad. I definitely think it should be faster than that though. I have an LT1 with basically the exact same mods as you minus the stall converter and I am running pretty close to what you are. With the stall, we would probably run the same.

Also, I think the gears are really hurting you especially wiht the stall. Try throwing 3.73s in there next. I don't think you would have too many problems with the AF ratio b/c your car is pretty much stock with a couple bolt ons. Not sure if you need to get a reprogramming with a stall or not. Dont believe so.

I've already programmed for the TC. Just had to raise the shift points and rev limit a little bit. I was assuming that LT's would make my a/f off maybe ~15 hp? I don't know. Maybe i'm expecting to much. I just thought that with a stall, full exhaust and lid i could hit 12's? Maybe my only answer to that will be nittos. I DO need gears, but those won't come for another couple of months. Fiance is draining my wallet.

i hate to say it (and im not trying to be an ***) but you guys who think his car is running about right times are way off. number 1...his car has damn near the same mods as i do and i have the same problem. fortunately, i know for sure that my 10/1 a/f ratio is to blame and with that, to an optimal 12.9-13.1 my car would easily be a couple tenths faster...right around the mid-12 second range...where a car with our mods SHOULD be. if his mph were up in the 108-110 area, i would totally agree that the car is running where it should be, minus the traction from his street tires which kills his et. but with a mph not even 105, i know something isnt right. i would bet my left nut that his car is pig rich...just as i am. as rich of a condition that i have on my car (and he may very well have on his) KILLS power...i would guess AT LEAST 15rwhp. chances are good that its probably more, but only a dyno wideband will tell that (hint hint )
