I just moved into the area, so I need some help!

I'm picking up some Jet Hot longtubes and will need a shop to do the install, including making a custom y-pipe. Has anyone used somebody in eastern PA? I am in Lancaster, about an hour west of Philadelphia, but have no problem driving as far as Jersey or DC if a shop comes highly recomended.

And while on the subject, I will need somebody soon to do a hotcam and torque converter install- if anyone knows a good shop for those as well

There is a shop in Garwood, NJ called Cartek, but I don't know how far you are from there. I think it's exit 132 or so on the NJ Parkway. www.cartek.net

 

Mike Kleman is known as one of the best mechanics for the LS1. He specializes in header and dyno tuning. His shop is Rapid Motorsports and its close to you.

Cool, I will have to contact both of those shops. Is this Mike Kleman good with LT1's too What are prices like?

 

I'm sure he has worked on many LT1s. But, its best that you talk to him yourself. He's not the cheapest, but he knows his **** and he respects your car. No screw ups to deal with after the install.
