Hey, i live in Lancaster, PA... i've seen a few LT1s around and was wondering if you guys are on this site at all. I drive the Red 97 Camaro Z28 with the t-tops and tinted windows.

I train technicians in PA. I just visited Philly and Allentown a few weeks ago. Great place but you're liquor laws suck. Why do you buy beer at one place and tequila at another? Laws are laws, I guess we don't ask questions. It just seems funny.

Visited the Hooters in Allentown... People brought large families there. This lady brought her 3 kids... no husband. Funny.

 

We Penssylvanians are funny. When I'm not cruisin around in my amish buggy, I'm rippin up the PA highways in my Z. I'm not near Lancaster, I live about 35 mi. north of Pittsburgh. I too have a red Z, With tinted windows,..... No wait, The PA State Police just pulled me over for that. so that is no more. What is the nearest drag strip to you, MaxCamaroZ28? I always go to Keystone.. I mean Pittsburgh Raceway in New Alexandria.

 

Have you been to Keystone this year? I was wondering if anything changed because of the name change, other than signs. I was there last year. Some friends and I will be making a road trip (from Altoona) there in a few weeks, a 97 anniversary Z, 95 Formula, 69 Camaro, and my 97. Maybe I'll see you there.

I was there in late April of this year. With my 96 Z I just bought. I don't think that they changed anything really. Just the signs and stuf that used to say Keystone. But I was tinkering with my car the whole time And checking out the other scenery, if you know what I mean I was there last year with My 97 SS, which I no longer have. It was Black, with nothing fancy. Just boltons. I had severe traction problems with that car, or maybe it was the lane I was in. It seems that evey time I would go to run someone before me would break sumthin. Oh well, drop me an e-mail, if you can remember, to let me know when your goin. Maybe I'll be there. I need some fellow F-body gurus to help clean up all the imports that go there.

69' Z28 emblems on the fenders. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one locally with the 69' emblems but there kinda hard to pick out on the move.

By the way, a group of us is renting Beaver Springs in June. If anyone is interested in running let me know. If we end up having some people back out I'll give you a yell.
Its 30 buck for like 4 or 6 hours of track time. We try and keep the number of people running to a minimum so that we can all have time to make quite a few passes.

 

I go to school in Harrisburg. But I'm home in NY for the summer.

 

I dont post here much, but I am form Lancaster. There is alot of
us from Lanc. that post on LS1.com. There is about 10 of us that
get together now and then and hit up the track (cecil/maple).
