I hear ya on those famous sayings. I can remember a day way back when I drove my car off the lot... "its fast enough, All I want is a flowmaster and I'll be happy" and the famous "ill never put a bar in my car". lol 5 years later I have no tags, no bumpers, a roll bar, a trailer and a Silverado to take it to where I want to go.

Jim, I'm not gonna make it tomorrow. The car is down for a bit. I have been checking things over all week... guess what? Yeah the famous Opti problems have migrated to my car. Its missfiring all over the place. The mysterious shutoff last week happened again in the garage 3 times... I'm 99% sure its just a bad Opti, but I ordered a few extras too.

I finally got a set of Moroso solid mounts, a set of SVO 30# injectors and a pretty new polished Vortec intake elbo.. I just had to order it, it looked so purty.


Im also going to order a Racetronix Fuel pump kit and toss in a new pump before the 29th. That way I can have the day for tuning it while I work on my staging skills.

 

Did you make it down on Saturday? How did you do? We were busy painting the new garage and house - settlement was on Friday.

 

Jackie, yea I was there in the ragtop. Got my butt kicked in round 1 by #7. Bringing the teal car this week. Went red at Maple on Sunday in heavy, semi finals in trophy.
