Going to NYIRP tomorrow (Friday)?
I will be there in my usual spot (the paved pits nearest the staging lanes). 99% sure the car will out, FWIW. Not sure what to expect, as I have only driven it ~25miles so far this year.
If you are going, let me know where to find you or look me up!

It went well, the weather was beautiful. My Mustang buddies all won their eliminations. Cheryl ran a personal best in the 5.0 her husband built, hitting 10.49 @ 133. I made four runs, and there is definitely going to be learning curve with this car in terms of driving and setup. The main thing I learned is that I am going to have to launch off the brakes. I was trying to stall against the footbrake and couldn't get the r's up high enough to launch hard. So, the 60' was off 0.25-.30sec comared to last year. In spite of that, I ran faster than my best previous non-nitrous run by about 0.10sec. So, with a good launch I should expect an overall improvement of ~.40-.50sec off the N2O, putting me in the mid-tens. If I see another 1/2sec with the N2O, that would hit my goal of 10.00.
Next Saturday is my next planned date. I want to have the transbrkae in operation by then. The next MOMS race (Sept 12th) is a "Brand-X" vs. Ford Shootout. Shouldn't us WNY F-body guys show up? I plan to be there with the full 150hp shot.
Hoping to see some of you there.
