Question Goin down the shore. Were to go?

Me and a few buddies are going on a road trip friday, and want to go down the shore, but dont know were to go. Were should we go?

Any good beaches or places in NJ you guys recomend?

Completely depends on what you want to do while down there, also if you want to go south, or further north.

Cape May, Wildwood, Avalon, Sea Isle, Ocean City and Atlantic are on the southern portion of the Jersey Shore. Cape May, Ocean City and Avalon are more of an older crowd (and yes, I put myself in the "older" crowd when referring to the Jersey shore). Atlantic City, well, you know what to do there and Wildwood is great for walkin' the boards. I wouldn't choose their beach though since you have to walk a few miles to get to the water .

LBI is a somewhat older crowd, and further north. Seaside is also further north, but another place to go to walk the boards.

So, like I said...depends on what you want to do .

I guess a board walk would be cool, and a place with the younger crowd is nice.

thanks

Yeah, but Ocean City is a dry town . Not much of a boardwalk there either unless you like to shop.

If your youthfull try Seaside Heights. Great club scene at night. If you go stop by the Bambu. Great indoor/outdoor club.

LBI used to have a lot of the younger crowd(back when I was younger) but it's much more family oriented now. You could probably make a few bucks buying cigarettes for the kids at the local 7-11 on LBI!

Wildwood is great for the boards and the bars... younger crowd there and always an intresting trip to the shore. I used to go there all the time but my parents sold their condo. Ocean City is a nice place, its dry but there are places to go that arent far. But you better take a cab in OC if you plan on getting banged up. LBI is definately more of a family oriented place. If you looking for a quiet place to just hang and hit the beach during the day its the way to go. LBI is also a good place to go fishing. I go to my g/f's cousins house in Manahawkin and head out on his boat. (I want a house like his some day, with my boat in the back yard already in the water) You can catch Weak fish without even tossing your line in the water .

Seaside is flourishing with 16 - 20 year olds..think high school..think summer after you graduated high school..that's the kind of crowd you'll anticipate there.

Point Pleasant is a little bit of an older crowd, the kids that go there are mainly the local kids. It's more of a 'family' place, pretty much all owned by Jenkinson's...

Cool

Well I live in Atlantic City The beach is cool but margate City beach is very nice and alot of nice looking chicks from PA and everywhere else around here. My vote though for a good time Wildwood on the weekend and or Seaside. Lots of Bangin girls and lots of bars and clubs. Let of know what happens
