gear edit in PCM

Anyone local that can hook up to my OBD2 and edit the gear info. I just changed from 2.73s to 3.42s and now I need to do "55" in a 45mph zone. I have been told of www.pcmforless.com which is about an hour half drive for me, I was wondering if someone was more local and even possible do the hook up and make the edit.

It's days like this I should have stuck to the "show n shine" side but... 1/4 miles are soooo much fun.
thanks

Ron, honestly for what you want your best bet is to just look out for a used Hypertech or similar programer. I have LT1 edit but its only liscensed for 1 PCM, mine. There is a version with unlimited edits but it is thousands of dollars. Any shop you find wil probably charge you $150 for a simple change. For $100-$150 you can pick up a used HPP+ and make them yourself. And next time you decide to do something you will be able to make changes again instead of driving 1 hr and paying another $150.

Thanks, Brian.

Just curious, what would happen to the car in the mean time until I can get it adjusted correctly? The rev limiter is off the tach, but what about "shift points" and top end limit? I was thinking of making Atco saturday but I'm not so sure if things are going to be wacky with the speedo.

Bummer, no.

I'm alot more east than there; between Quakertown and Doylestown.
But thanks for looking out for me, man!

Rapid does great work but he doesn't have the unliminted version of LT1 edit. You have to purchase your own version. I would agree with Brian, just get a hypertech off ebay and do it yourself.

Ron, it looks like rain on Saturday. I'm heading out to ATCO on Sunday for some time shots. They are calling for rain again Sunday afternoon.

Shucks on the rain. I guess I'm not going to be checking out the new gears. dang.

I also got the subframes connectors installed. But I have not had a road test to see how the car is with them.

I'm checking on the eBay. There's two up but running close to $200.
