Help got serious problems with a Car Dealer!!
Help!! Got a problem with a Chevy dealer!!
Well being I work at a car dealer I have a pretty good idea of how things should be handled and done etc. SO that being when the GF went to buy a 1996 Eagle Talon (white) auto ESI with only 29K miles in pretty good shape. So we go up and she takes it home and checks it out. I notice that it was wrecked in the front despite the dealer saying otherwise till I poitned these some things out. I noticed a few other issues. Warped front rotors, stains in the interior, water in the driver headlight, no emissions done yet, radio doesn't skip it just stops and would like a full tank of gas no biggie. Sooo we take it back and say go down on the price $400 and we'll take it with the issues. The manager comes in and says no. I say ok well then take care of these items here then. He says yes we would want to take car of those things yes. So I wrote down deal pending this things replaced and the radio fixed with a full tank of gas. No problem?? Well he wouldn't give enough for the trade so I got that taken care of threw a dealer in my work. SO basically i'm doing their job to earn my own business. I said take $78 off the car more for tax exempt on the trade off. He says we can only take off $59. I was like whatever lets get it over with. Price $5870 plus fixing/replacing those items. Talk to the salesman on Thursday and says if the headlight isn't in that they would put it in the we owe slip and take care of it and the radio. So Friday GF picks up car and they said rotors pads replaced and writes up a we owe for the radio. They proceed to slip by charging $5900 for the price and they said the headlight was too expensive and they wouldn't replace it. I was like uhh no you can't talk out both sides of your mouth saying you will take care of then not do it. So I look at the car and it had a **** poor detail and they didn't replace the rotors they turned them down. WE go back and say wtf. They said ok we'll replace it but no we still aren't replacing the headlight. I was like well go down on the price and you still owe us money back cause you over charged. Well trying to keep the story down after signing the FN paper work friday now they are picking the car up today and taking it back cause I dont want to deal with this.
Basically what courses of action do you think i should take to this dealer over which is "FREDERICK CHEVEROLET OF LEBANON" ON ROUTE 72????? They lied then tried to pass things off and so forth and now we are short a car cause of this BS!!! WTF Let me know what course is best and level headed??? thanks for your input!

hi bruce sorry to hear about your problems i would yhink that if you have this is in ink on your agreement it should be binding not that it was to expensive talk to your head honcho at beasley they should be able to stere you in the right direction if not turn the book over and call a lawyer

If you do the deal be extremely specific on the WE OWE slip. If there is a noise and you say to fix the noise on the slip they will say it is normal for that to happen and not do anything. If you state the water pump needs to be replaced due to the noise it is making they will then replace it. I wouldn't deal with it. Get something else.
Definetly too much drama. They had several opportunities to make good on this. They have established an adversarial relationship. It won't change.
If you really want the car, maybe one attempt to the GM or the owner. If they don't take the call, you've got your answer.

Dah, that sucks man.
If they pissed me off that bad, I'd make a little website about how bad they suck and put it in all the search engines so when someone type in that dealer they will get my bashing page up right next to theirs,
