Ok guys, we are going to keep the date of Saturday November 23rd.....not many guys can make it on friday. I am a little bummed that Rich wont be able to make it though.

Looks like we have a nice go-cart place to go to as well!

We are going to meet around 4:30pm and I will figure out a location.

Thanks, Jason

Here is the final details:

We are all meeting in Buffalo just off the Thruway at exit 49. At exit 49 you will come to a toll booth at the end (pay the toll)

After the toll booth, you will come to a stop light. Take a left at the light and you will see Bob Evans resturant only a few hundred ft. away. We are going to meet there in the back parking lot at 5pm.

After meeting, we are going to have some serious fun racing fast go-carts over by the Galleria mall for a while. After that, we will be going to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner and discussing the long winter of benchracing ahead of us

Cant wait, I look forward to seeing everyone. BTW, the date for this shindig will be November 23rd (Saturday).

I have the weekend off! I will need a ride up with you Jason.
My new clutch is toasted but the tranny might still be ok. Has any of you Buffalo guys heard of Old Man Engineering?

Well I just sprained my MCL

Played U of R and got stretched out tyring to make a pass and guy hit nothing but my knee. Some wierd feelings and lots of pain when I try to bend it past 90* and its still real stiff.

Thought it was worse when it happened, felt like my knee cap was on the side of my leg but luckily not nearly that bad.

Traner says sounds like a sprain.

So my weekend of hockey might be done. This was in the first shif t of tonights game and I was urged to not go back by the trainer although the coaches kept asking...figures right?

So I am up in the air right now wiht meeting up. I might be able to if I am not taken on the road trip to St. Bonnies and I don't think I will be since the coach does not want it made worse.

Hopefully it will go away in a couple of days

Sorry to hear that Phil. I would say if its still sore in a week to 10 days go to a doctor. They will probably do an MRI to see if you have a tear. A friend of mine at shool just tore his ACL playing rugby...

Hopefully you can make the meeting!

Matt,

Yeah you are right. Its still sore and if I move my leg the wrong way or too fast it hurts.

But it is much better then the night it happened. (Fri)

I noticed today when I got out of the shower....its swollen some. Not sure if it was before or not I think it was. But if I push on the fluid you can see it squish around and my knee cap moves from it some...kinda nasty.

When it happened my knee cap felt like it was on the side of my leg and it hurt like hell. I guess my knee cap could have actually shifted and pop back....ugh oozie thinking about that one.

We have a road trip this weekend so its up in the air if I can play or not, we play Syracuse and Ithca. I was not dressed the rest of this weekend and could not have played well if I was.

Its still stiff more so after having it in one position for a while. But I walk near normal now I think, with only a little limp.
