I was reading this Camaro performance guide book, and they mentioned alot about the TPiS ZZ9 Cam, said it makes great power gains and nice idle and everything, although its expensive ($375),...Had anyone heard anything about it??, I was going to get a LE1 head/cam package, but it looks like theres some stuff not included that will send it a tad out of my price range for now...I drive my car a good amount, and I just wanted to see what ou guys thought about a cam>

What was the book you were reading TPIS the seller of that cam has printed a few books that are nothing but advertizments for their stuff. I know a guy locally who had that cam with AFR heads and was no faster than my whale of a car with stock heads and a slightly smaller cam.

I do think cams in that general size range can be great choices but would point you toward the Crane 210/224, the Lingenfelter LPE-74211 the GMPP 845 instead of that grossly overpriced cam. Another alternative would be Advanced Induction or Bret Bauer custom grinds would be a lot better for the money.
