Car ran find for about a week. Then one morning I got in and it wouldn't start again. Pulled the starter out and took it to Auto Parts store. They tested it and it worked fine. Since the problem was intermittant and it was under lifetime warranty the guy gave me another starter no charge. Took it home put it in the car and still won't start. Now I'm lost. Checked clutch switch by jumpering out a week ago and didn't start. Doesn't seem like security issue because security light comes on for only a few seconds NOT the normal 3 minutes when it is blocking starting. Could the battery be bad even if the headlights are bright and radio works???? Battery is about 4 years old. What else should I check?

A 4 year old battery is really old, I would change that next. it may have enough stored power to work the lights, but not enough CCA's to turn the starter.
