I remember back before there was a 98+ TA looking at the 93-97 TAs and thinking man thats a bad *** looking car. Kinda influenced me in what i got.

 

Both cars look awesome but i prefer the look of the Trans Am in all the Fourth Gen. But i would pic a camaro over a Formula. You could say i like pointy noses. Mine in the Sig. Click the 1994 Trans Am text.

 

I didnt say T/A's were ugly, I said firebirds, of course i would take a T/A over a camaro any year, but i wouldnt take a T/A over a SS ever.

 

I wouldnt take a T/A over a formula. I dont like the T/A bumpers. I would take a formula with a WS6 hood over a Camaro SS. I just dont like the front ends on Camaros.

 

I say get a TA. They have better interior. I don't think the LT1 TA's look better than the LT1 Camaro's though. If i had to do it all over again i would get a nice LT1 TA and then swap the LS1 front end on it.

 

Yah, T/A interior is considerably better. My door panels dash and everything on my '94 T/A were way better than my camaro. My '98 firebird also was far superior...every camaro i ride in has way more dash and door panel rattles than equivalent firebird/camaroes.

 

Yeah my dad owns 2 4th gen camaros, and i must say that the interior of my Formula is much nicer. The shifter, the red glowing gauges, the door panel shapes, the dash vents, even the gauge layout it much more clean and fitting. The Camaro interior is just kind of thrown together.

 

Ha, I got the best of both worlds as far as LT1 is concerned - newest LT1, new style interior, Camaro good looks! LT1 Birds are gross lookin'!!! LS1 birds are great though.

I like the Trans am's and Z28's equally. My opinion has changed, since buying my '95 Z28. I used to say that I would never own a Z28, since I was all about the 4th gen TA's...but the day I saw my '95 Z28 with the SS hood I fell in love with the looks. I was supposed to go check out a Trans am right after it, but cancelled that appointment. I still think that the best looking 4th gens are the '98-'02 WS6's. Actually the '99-'02 Firehawks are the best looking b/c they don't have that duel nostril thing going on...but of course it isn't that big of a difference in looks. I am not a big fan of the 4th gen formy's, unless they are black. So just look around and see which car catches your eye, you may be suprised that it is the opposite of what you were actually looking for(as in the case with me). Oh, one thing that I hate is the look of a camaro with ground effects.

 

When I bout my car I had a polo green Z-28 sitting right next to my trans-am. Both cars were perfect in every way. miles were close,both were auto.(even though I always prefer stick). And I decided to go with the trans-am.I think that trans-ams only look good in a few colors and they must have rims other than stock. no swirly style. and no twentys or anything like that. My car is red and at first I thought man this is a girl/metrosexual color but now I must say that I really like it and im glad that I bought the trans-am.

 

if every one is stating there opinion i guess i will to..i love my 95 trans ma.. i hate the ws6 hoods ram air "93-97" i really hate forumula's..camaros look like a doorstop or a fish..my absoulute fav is a 98 up ws6 ram air.. my 95 trans am looks like a handicaped ramp.. lol.. i cant wait to do the front end conversion....but overall i will take a trans am over a camaro any day except for 1st 2nd and 3rd gens..those i will chose a camaro..just my 02

 

Dont matter what car to chose just as long as it was a SS or a WS6 I think the Z28 is dam ugly and the plain TA is a bit better but not much. Like the TA seats much better. Before 96- camaro Intiours are just butt ugly. Thats how i feel everbody likes something different.

 

The hos like the T/A alot better too..
