Ok my buddy was braggin to me that he bought a Granatelli MAF (no idea why). BUt hes got a 1994 LT1 Formula. I told him it wont work but he wont believe me.....anyone know FOR SURE, so i can show him this post???

 

it'll work but tell him he wasted his money, for the cash he spent on that he coulda had a dyno tune and made a lot more power. IMO the granatelli's are POS.

My friend had one on a 00 Firebird. He got it dynoed at Thunder Racing. With the Granatelli MAF he made 350 HP, just as soon as they could change to a stock one it made 360 HP. There was no cooldown time and these were back to back. He paid $350 to lose 10 HP. Hope it works better on your friends car.

 

Is it a Grantenelli MAF, a Grantenelli Modified Z06 MAF, or a General Motors MAF???

These are ALL posibilities... Some work, some are year dependent, some only work with modifications... none will really gain any HP other than in the head of the believer..

 

Granatelli modified z06.....remember....this is on an LT1.
