Your opinon of this cam choice...

Comp Cams "Extreme" LT1 Camshaft, 230 / 236, .510 / .520 112 LSA, Very aggressive street/strip cam. Heads, Headers, High Stall or M6, Gears, Computer Tuning Required.

My plans are to rebuild next year into a 355. At least ported/polished heads, but I want AFR heads if I can afford them when the time comes. 3200 stall. Jet-Hot longtubes to replace my shorties. 3.73 gears. Does that cam sound like a good choice? I'm really not trying to build a monster but just a quick street car. I just want a lopey cam that will deliver some good power and I want some of you guy's opinions, thanks.

Sounds damn good to me. The long tubes, gears, and convertor are a very good idea (as are the AFRs! ).

It's always nice to see someone else out there who picked up the same cam. It's been chosen over the CC306 time after time for how streetable it is. It wears a slight bit more on the valvetrain than the CC306, but is an overall better choice.
