Idle Problems.

I just installed a new motor and have a question.I'm in the process of working all the bugs out. The car has a problem idling. When I crank it up it will sit around 600RPM's. If I give it fuel for a minute in the idle area it will learn and stay at 1000RPM's Sometimes when I crank it it will do fine. I've checked the TPS voltage and it's correct. I have a Holley TB and have the adjustment screw all the way forward. All help or ideas are welcome. Thanks,Mike

Adjustment screw >>> you mean throttle-stop screw right? Wouldn't you want to back it out a bit to raise the RPM?

If I back it out it will close the throttle blades and die out. I.ve got it screwed all the way in . If it was all the way out it begins to stall. That is the only way I have managed to keep it running,Mike
