your engine rpm at freeway speeds

Want to know what rpms your engine is running at freeway speeds. Just installed a new tranny and convertor an broke it in with 500 city miles. took it on the freeway and it seems like the rpms are higher. Its a stage 3 racing a4 with a yank 3500rpm nitrous convertor. My RPM AT 70MPH is about 3700. don't know rearend ratio yet but does that sound about right. It just seems super loud now. I'm a newbie to convertors so maybe thats normal with a higher stall. My civic si and my corvette are both manuals.

RPMs

I'm mostly stock and stay in the 2 to 2.2K rpm while at 70mph. Now you got me thinking --- Am I too low or are you too high?

Ok, sounds good. I forgot to say that it wasn't in overdrive with those rpms. I'm pretty happy with the setup now. Seems to be alot faster now. Haven't really punched it hard yet or used the nitrous on it. Once I hit 1000 miles on it I'm gonna thrash on it. Also, my ses light came on before all of this for a maf system failure and I bought the granettelli and put it in but after clearing the code, it came back on. Any ideas on what might be causing this and what effects does that failure have on the car if its not operating correctly?
