i have a 1994 z28 and the letter C on the opti harness that plugs into the pcm harness is a yellow wire. with the key turned to the run position this wire is hot with a test light. i think my opti quit on me and i remember a year ago reading bout this meaning its a bad opti of the wire was hot? is this correct??

 

"C" is the "ignition feed" wire, and shows up as red in all but one of my wiring diagrams. That wire supplies +12V to the Opti.

 

Injuneer did you read the pm i sent you? when i push the gas pedal and pumped it the car was bout to start till my starter wouldn't shut off so i cut the key off and unplugged the battery. a guy on another board said he car acted like that and just cranked and it was his IAC valve....
