what is everybodys input on these cams im thinking of oredering the 292-300 @ .50 will it work good with mods in my sig?!!!!!!!

I have the 292. I havent been to the track yet but it sounds great. Mine is not a street car though. Seems to have plenty of power.

292-300° @ .050"???? I think you mean @ .006" I honestly think the XFI280 is bigger than you want to go with those lobes.

I am gonna use the 280 xfi cam(hydrualic flat tappet) on my 383 lt1 intake conversion sbc gen 1.
Gonna put it together this month.

I have the Comp XFI-292 in my 396 stroker and really like the cam. 11.30 ETs and over 120 MPH.

280XFI is a bit too large for a 383. I went with the CompCams 3015/3111 combo on a 112 lobe separation. This is taking in to consideration that you want to drive your car more than 1/4 mile at a time.
