I was looking at your sig. Why didn't you go with the 1.6 rockers?? Just out of curiousity.
When I built it they only had 1.52 roller rockers in stock and I REALLY wanted to get it done!!! I don't think there really is a whole lot of difference, power wise, from 1.5 to 1.6 ratio!
If I had to do it over I would go with 1.6, though!!!

With 1.6 RR's you get more lift and duration. With the 224/230 and 1.6 RR's you get .536"/.544". I beleive the 1.5's are around .510"/.520" or something like that. The longer the valves stay open the more power you will get.

Yeah, that's true. They are 1.52 ratio. But I've seen it argued on this board that going from 1.5 to 1.6 isn't really worth it!...that is if you already have 1.5 installed!

Yea if I already had the 1.5's in I probably wouldn't change to 1.6's. It's just not worth the money.

LimitedEd1LE you wont get any more duration from the 1.6's. duration is referenced to the cam lobe. obviously the cam lobe isnt changeing because of a rocker swap. i am just recycling either a shoebox or injuneer reply i cant remember which.

Sorry I meant to just say intake and exhaust lift. It was late and I had a brain fart. Haha

Yes, you just won't see the full potential of the cam untill you do some head work.

I have that cam as well and for the most part i like it. Only difference is I had mine ground on a 110 LSA instead of the advertised 112. Given the opportunity to do it over again id probably just got with the same cam on a 112 or possibly something slightly larger from CM. Reason I say that is I have some cam surge down low that ive done my best to try and clear up to no avail but then again I do need 4.10s. No track times and no sound clips.. sorry.
