Xe 230/236

I plan on doing the cam, , RR, valve springs, head port, TC, headers, CAI, and all this summer. I would like to go with the XE 230/236 cam. Is is this a wise decision?? If it is, what speed stall should I go with?? Thanks
Jason

Its just a personal preference on which cam you want. The XE 224/230 and the 230/236 both should be fine.

I'm pulling mine apart to install a 230/236 and heads by Lloyd right now. After whole lot of reading the boards that was my informed decision. I think it really depends on the heads ability to flow. If I was gonna DIY port my heads or even stock LT4 castings (I considered both) I prolly would have went with the 224/230. Both are great cams for the LT1 however, with the flow I should end up with when Lloyd is done I chose the larger of the two cams. Just my .02
So what kind of port work are you gonna have done?

This cam is bad as hell man. I'll post dyno results May 8th and track results in the next few weeks. Hopefully they don't disappoint :-).

Jason, something to think about is where the guys live that gave you the 'thumbs up' for that cam. Michigan or Texas, AFAIK, do not have as stringent emissions testing specs as states such as IL. or SE WI. Is this a daily driver? Just something to think about come testing time. If you indeed go the 'recommended' route, let us know how testing went, when the time comes.

My second vote for the xe230/236

Sorry, I just got home from taking it to get washed and along the way scaring a few vettes and old school muscle cars. Caution: If you get this cam, everyone and their mothers will ask you about your car, how "fast" it is, and "what's under the hood?" ;-). But that's fun for me cuz I love talking about cars.

It will be a daily driver but only for a few months. It will however be a whenever it is sunny car(maybe 3 times a week). There are no emissions here in IL so that is no worry. The only other worry is injector size. What size injectors should I use? Is it possible to use the stock ones?? Thanks for the recc. Later,
Jason

I'm on stock for now but I haven't pushed it up to 6grand even yet cuz I'm not sure if they can support it. Rodrigues is pushing them to the limit and my cam is slightly larger so I'm thinking I'll need some 30lbers but I'll let the dynoshop make that call.
