XE 224/236 dyno results
I went to Protech Performance in Mississauga to get my Formula dynoed last night. First pull on the stock tune netted 340rwhp and 350rwtq. During the first attempt at a reprogram, we lost power to the ECU and fried it. Vince made an awesome effort at getting me another one so I could make it back home. When he finally got one, we got things back up and running and tuned the car a bit. Still the power stayed at 340/350 but the AFR was right at 13.5-13.6 all the way through the pull. The graph was as smooth as a babies bottom! I gained alot of torque back down low. Im happy with the way the car drives finally. I cant wait to get it to the track
mods are: XE 224/236 .545 .555 with 1.6 rock arms, stock heads, intake, throttle body, edelbrock headers, and a borla catback. The car is a 6spd manual.

I'll scan the graph if I can.

My car's TQ peaked at 351 tq at 4100 RPM's(or there about, looked closer to 4200) and when I did the RPM*TQ/5252 it only ends up at like 274 hp.
I thought my numbers were jacked up...but that is what they say. I was dissapointed to say the least. I have:
Ported stock heads, LT4 hotcam, 1.6 pro-mags, 11/1 comp forged slugs, edlebrock headers and borla on an A4 with a vigi 2800 stall.

Total cost was about $300 CDN. The guys at Protech were very reasonable since I was actually there about 5 hours instead of the planned 1.5-2.0hrs. The cam drives like stock almost. There is a LITTLE surge under 1800, but not much, unless you really lug it. Sounds so mean at idle. I have trouble finding people that want to heat em up at the lights
